Arizona Lightening by Natasza Waters

This is the first book in Ms. Waters's new series.  As always, she writes a story that will pull you in from the very beginning and hold you until the last sentence of the last page.  I love the complexity of her characters and the interactions they have with each other.  The twists and turns of the plot will keep you engaged from beginning to end.  She gives you cowboys, strong women, beautiful country and hot vampires to boot!  Be warned, this one ends with somewhat of a cliffhanger. But, the second book comes out in early August so you won't have long to wait.  Well worth your money and time. Pick up your copy today and be prepared to be up all night reading.

Catalyst by J.M. Madden

If you are a J. M. Madden fan, you will not be disappointed.  She has once again delivered a book that will keep you glued to the pages until the very end.  It is a fast paced, action packed story laced with the fun of watching Noah and Raine get to know each other.  Your heart will break for Haven and, if you're like me, I now can't wait to get his story.  These men rescued by the Dogs of War will dig into heart and J.M. does and excellent job of bringing them to life.  Catalyst was a fun and touching love story, but it also opend new pathways to exposing those responsible for what happened to these men.  The plot thickens and it's satisfying to watch those responsible brought to justice.
This book was well worth the wait and it is well worth your time and money.  Get your copy now.

Rock Chick Reawakening by Kristen Ashley

I loved this story primarily because I love these two characters.  Daisy and Marcus are such a good couple and Kristen does an excellent job, as usual, of telling their story.  For a Kristen Ashley book, this on was a relatively quick read but it met all the same criteria of her other books for meeting my reading needs.  It was filled with laughter, sadness and retribution.  Well worth the time and effort.

Defending Morgan by Susan Stoker

Defending Morgan is the third book in the Mountain Mercernaries Series by Susan Stoker and, as with the other two, she has once again captured the reading audience from page one to the very end.  Morgan Byrd, kidnapped and held captive for over a year.  Rescued, accidently, by Archer Kane while his Mountain Mercernary team was recovering a young girl kidnapped by her father and carried off to the Dominion Republic.  This is were the story starts and mystery begins.  Ms. Stokers books are always well written and this one is no exception.  The twist and turns of finding o. ut who had Morgan kidnappped and how serious the continued threat is will keep you on the edge of your seat.  I was glad to see the the trauma suffered by someone subjected to kidnap and repeated rapes is not treated lightly by this author.  This is not trauma our heroine "snapped" out of by finding the love of a good, kind man and appreciated that it was dealt with believably and with understanding and compassion  That said, this was a wonderful read and a well written story.  Don't miss this one.

Boss of My Panties by Tessa Wood

This is Ms. Wood's first published book and it is definitely a keeper. This is a short read, but oh so entertaining. The story revolves around Cole,a CEO of his sister's lingerie company and his obsession with Piper one of her designers. Tessa Wood quick witted writer that engages the reader from page one until the very end. Her dialogue is funny and Cole and Piper are one of those couples you wish you knew. This story is both hot and sweet, funny and serious. Please give this author chance. I think you will enjoy her style and, like me, be looking forward to her next book.

Retribution by J.M. Madden

This is the third installment of J.M. Maddens Dogs of War series.  She has once again captured my attention from the first page to the last.  I've been sitting here trying to decide what to say that will make you understand just how good this book is.  Wulfe and Elizabeth are one of my favorite couples and there are a few surprises revealed about them throughout the book.  If you've followed this series, you'll be glad to see justice served and those involved made to take responsibility for their actions. All I can really say is it's a killer book and well worth your time and money.  Hope there are many more books to come in this series.  As with the characters in her Lost and Found series, J.M. has created another group of men well worth getting to know.

SEAL's Goal: The Beautiful Game by Sharon Hamilton

This book had me hooked from the first page.  It was different from her other stories because this one starts with the loss of a Navy SEAL and the affect on those closest to him that are left behind.  It did have me in tears.  The story progresses from there to show us how his death affected his best friend and his girl.  It is well written and fast paced.  I love Sharon's SEALs and she did not let me down with this one.  If you haven't gotten it yet, please do.  Well worth the money and time spent reading it.
